Our Story
The Progressive Recognized Teachers' Union Telangana State (PRTU TS) is a major union in Telangana, representing over 72,000 teachers. We are dedicated to advocating for teachers across all government schools, including specialized cadres in Model Schools and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV).
PRTU TS employs a dual strategy, engaging in both high-level negotiations with the government and organizing public agitations. Our influence is supported by a strong grassroots network of district and mandal committees that mobilize our members throughout the state.
